Tabor Renewal offers a holistic, supportive and comprehensive programme. Our staff at Tabor Renewal are trained in addiction issues, eating disorders, internal family systems, and integrative psychotherapy, and endeavour to support the clients in a broad continuum of care. Through this programme, women are exposed to new responsibilities, shown the damage their addictions may have caused, and learn ways to accept their new reality and rebuild relationships with renewed hope.
The treatment programme at Tabor Renewal includes attendance at a CE Scheme Monday to Friday for 19.5 hours. Women will attend a FETAC Level 4 programme that covers the following:
After the 12 week course at Tabor Renewal has been completed, clients have the option of continuing the CE scheme at Northside Community Enterprises Ltd.
Tabor Renewal provides further support in the form of private accommodation at our step-down house in Shanakiel, for a limited number of residents. This facility allows women who might not be able to find suitable accommodation to continue their recovery in a community environment with limited support from the team at Tabor Renewal.
Aftercare is an essential part of the Tabor Renewal ethos. We keep in touch with the women through monthly aftercare meetings plus a weekly support group and continue to see women on a one-to-one basis if required. This aftercare service also offers family conferences and continued help with issues around children, social workers and courts. The women are encouraged to maintain communication with Tabor Renewal staff at any point and build upon that bond for support.
