FAQ & Fees

Is there a detox unit at Fellowship House?

Detoxification is not provided at the centre and potential clients need to be free of alcohol and drugs for 72 hours prior to admission. We will work in conjunction with a GP, community detox facility or continuing care manager should the client relapse in between primary care treatment and admission to Fellowship House.

Can my family visit me while I’m a resident at Fellowship House?

Part of the ethos at Fellowship house is that men are encouraged to reintegrate back into a healthy community. For this reason, we ask that family visitations are not held at the Fellowship House premises but are arranged within the community at local cafes or events. Clients go on weekend home visits every 4 weeks.

Why choose Fellowship House Men’s Residence?

“You have left a massive imprint on my life and knowing that I have Fellowship House and all who are in it to guide and support me is unreal. I get through each day because of what I’ve learned at Fellowship House.”

Robert

“I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the help I got at Fellowship House. They saved my life.”

John

“You have helped me in so many ways. The gift you have given me is the ability to help myself and with your guidance I feel I now know myself- and more importantly- I actually like myself.”

Adam

Will my health insurance cover the costs?

No, health insurance does not cover the costs. External sources and agencies may provide financial assistance and clients are welcome to explore these opportunities if suitable.

What is the cost?

Tabor Group is a charitable organisation established to help those struggling with addiction and whatever your financial circumstances, we will endeavour to accommodate you.

The cost of treatment is €3,402 for 12 weeks.  Residents are required to pay €150 each week. Tabor Group receives funding from government sources as a contribution towards the services it provides.  Depending on your personal circumstances, you may be eligible to have some of the costs of your treatment offset by this funding.  This will be discussed with you at assessment and we will work with you to agree a manageable payment plan under those circumstances.

How do I get help?

Men over the age of 18 who have completed a Tier 4 residential treatment facility can avail of additional 12 week treatment programme at Fellowship House. Referrals can be made directly by the person concerned, or from Tabor Lodge or other primary treatment centres.

Contact us to arrange an assessment with a professional addiction counsellor in strict confidence. We would always advise that you are accompanied by a family member or friend to this appointment both for support and as a valuable source of information.
