Tabor Group offers Residential Treatment Programmes between 29 and 43 days in duration. This primary residential treatment programme consists of comprehensive assessment, individualised care planning, group therapy, counselling, addiction education, meditation, and nature walks.
Tabor Group offers a 12-week integrated treatment programme with two phases suited to both male and female clients with complex needs, poly/cross-addiction, history of previous treatment & relapse, deficits in coping, and living skills.
Phase 1 is designed to respond to the complex needs of clients and provides safety and stabilisation. Phase 2 of the programme supports clients to take on more personal responsibility while continuing to develop skills for managing addiction as well as everyday living skills. There is an option of a 3rd phase (Supported Living).
Tabor Group offers confidential One-to-One and Group Counselling Services for those whose recovery needs are more moderate and for whom residential treatment programmes are not necessary or possible at the time.
Tabor Group’s Group Counselling includes evening and weekend group sessions. The programme is 12-weeks in duration and clients are referred onwards to a 52-week continuing care programme.
Our Family Support Programme is designed to help concerned persons of the individual with substance use disorder. It has been our experience at Tabor Group for many years, that when a family is affected by addiction, then the whole family can benefit from support. The types of supports that have been shown to help are education, one-to-one support and peer support groups, all of which are provided through the Tabor Group Family Support Programme.
In 2020 a total of 368 family members attended Tabor Group’s Family Support Programme, giving them the opportunity to be directly involved in their relative’s treatment while also receiving the appropriate education and support for themselves. By learning about addiction and how families tend to be affected, participants are empowered to make more informed choices in their lives, as they learn how to respond more effectively to addiction and early recovery.
Just as we encourage those in treatment to make positive changes to improve the quality of their lives, our hope is that their families will also embrace this idea of positive change for themselves.
Our Family Support Programme is not just for the loved ones of individuals in treatment with Tabor Group, but support is also provided to good effect to families whose loved one opt not to take help with addiction treatment.
At Tabor Group, we realise the support needed by clients in the early months of recovery after treatment is crucial to establishing an effective recovery from addiction. The Continuing Care Programme is an integral part of the care delivered by Tabor Lodge to the client following completion of their residential treatment. The programme provides ongoing treatment and support to clients that have completed residential treatment programmes while they learn to cope with the demands of day-to-day living. It involves participation in a weekly group meeting and commitment to an individualised care plan over 12 months, with an option to continue this for a second year of support.
When in early recovery, clients will face many struggles that can hinder their progress therefore reviewing the care plan with the Continuing Care Coordinator is vital to assist and steer the client towards the recovery process. Tabor Lodge offers Continuing Care at various venues in the city and county. Our extensive network of continuing care groups, including relapse support programmes and a women’s programme, are designed to give effective reinforcements for clients to be able to maintain their recovery.
When clients leave our facility, our Continuing Care programme links the client with beneficial services or resources while also allowing them to keep ties with the Tabor Group staff. This connection between the client and the Tabor Group throughout their journey gives them reassurance in their recovery and self-confidence for living an enriching and sober life.
Tabor Group offers a series of community-based education and training presentations to schools, clubs, and businesses of all sizes, across all industries. Our talks are tailored to suit the requirements of the individual business, school, or club and its’ attendees.
